We leave in the morning at 6 a.m. in our private transport to the Sacred Valley of the Incas where we will have a guided visit of Pisaq, after passing the town of Calca we will cross the Abra de Amparaes to Lares (thermal medicinal waters). After lunch we will walk approximately 2 hours to our camp in Cuncany.
Continuing our journey through a small valley we will arrive at the community of Huacawasi. The people of that place are dedicated to the production of fabric, there you will be able to observe the great skill that the women possess to make the famous ponchos and other fabrics, all made by hand. At the end of our visit we will go up to the Condor Pass, with a height of 4100m. From there you will be able to observe the mountain chain on the western side of the Andes, among them the most important, the Veronica snow-capped mountain (5750m). Then we will descend until we reach the beautiful high Andean lagoon of Ipsaycocha, where we will camp.
In this day the road is downhill to the wider valley where you can find the communities to the Andean ollantaytambo (Patacancha, Huylloc and Pumamarka), are famous for their textile art manufactured in ancient yarns. Huylloc will be the place where we will have lunch and then go to Pumamarka for 2 Hrs, on the way you can see the Andes of the Incas. Once arrived in Ollantaytambo we will take the train of the afternoon to go to hot waters, place where we will rest in a comfortable hotel.
In the morning, after breakfast, we will go to the bus station to ascend to the Inca citadel, Machupicchu, there you will have a guided tour and your stay will be 3 hours to then return to Aguas Calientes where you will have free time to have lunch in the place of your preference and visit the town, then you will take the train back to Cusco.
